Hi I’m new to this board

I’m having problem with my computer. It is just freezing at random times. When I leave it alone for a couple minutes it freezes. The keyboard, mouse, and everything is like locked. I tried to play a game last night and it froze just when it was going to open the game, and I could not take the CD out because it would not let me. So I have to press the shut down button. When I do that sometimes the computer screen won’t turn on. I have to keep turning on until the screen turns on, sometimes I have to wait 20 minutes. I’m kind of inexperience with computers so I’m like clueless.
