Very nice, as long as they continue to sell the standard Raspberry Pi as well. The price of entry with this new form factor will be significantly higher - the compute board alone will sell for $30, not including the IO Board (which also appears to lose quite a few standard connectivity options, offering just a USB and HDMI port). Should be an interesting method for embedding control and compute functionality, though. I've used quite a few different SIPP "computer on a card" units in this type of form factor, for use in highly specialized embedded computer applications, and they can be pretty effective.
  3. Opensource hardware, lol, how can I modify anything?
    Its a LEGO only.

By building your own Lego pieces! Just because you can't, doesn't mean it is not open source.
