Re-install problemos

I was able to boot off the XP cd and format using NTFS and after it loaded the setup files it said that the system would reboot and then start the windows setup. Well it did not do that, it boots back into the first part where it wants me to select a partion and format. For some reason it will not start the setup process. Just for info on my system, lightning wiped out my mother board where i could not turn the comp on so I replaced it and went ahead and updated from a 1.8 p4 to a 3.06 PD. Also, I do have the boot seq as flop/cd/hd. Thanks for helping.

Try to delete the partition first, then create a new one, do a full NTFS format and try to run setup again.

That did not work either. I am going to try another CD if I can find one. I just dont understand, it never did this b4.
