My HP pc came without the XP Home OS CD. I heard that it was possible to reinstall XP as well reformat the hard drive during the F8 boot menu. However, I was not able to see that particular option step there. Could use some suggestions on this.
your HP manual should tell you the steps to initiate a recovery install during boot up. if you dont have a manual you should be able to find that info on HP's website.
