The most successful vaccines (Smallpox, etc.) are against viruses that don't mutate much. The less successful ones (Flu, Covid) target viruses that mutate basically yearly, and as they mutate the vaccines get significantly less effective (how much depends on how the virus mutates). The vaccines are quite effective against the variant(s) they target, but that variant is typically only around for a year or two before being outcompeted by some new variant.

I said it at the beginning: Covid is the new flu. Just significantly more contagious and deadly.
what conservatives have said from the beginning for the most part. its just another flu/cold. now that our bodies have seen it. It will be just as deadly as the common cold. (not very deadly)

live your life move on. if you like taking a worthless shot every 6 months so be it... but dont force it on others. big pharma makes enough they dont need your help.

Well, that's because this isn't a "real lawsuit:. It's a political strategy designed .to garner publicity the RNC doesn't have to pay for. They're carping and whimpering for attention. Sic: "vote for us, we're the victims here, We can't get the 'truth' of our message out, because of mean old left wing Google"..

It works the same way with so called, "debates", the jilted member starts running his or her mouth, "that > ???? < "is afraid to debate me!" t'ts never really a "debate", to begin with. The moderator asks one candidate a question, (which never gets directly answered), and aforementioned candidate goes into a campaign speech until the time runs out, and usually a bit beyond that.

They're all narcissistic sociopaths, who live solely for the purpose of gaining power, and prestige, with a side order of public adulation and graft...

The simple fact of the matter is., ,these emails ARE spam. I'm a registered Democrat, and I don't read the crap they send me. Ever since Jan. 6th, and Trump claiming "the election was stolen", (which he continues to do), I wouldn't pull a Republican lever, if my twin brother was running as a Republican. I simply don't give a shi! what either party's "platform" is. This is America, we never vote FOR anybody, we vote against somebody.

If you had the choice of two pieces of sh!t like, "Dr. Oz", and Doug Mastriano, who would you vote for? I'd vote for a homeless drug addict before either one of them_full stop.

Pretty much the rest of the world is suffering from worse inflation than we Americans. Also Trump contributed in excess of 7 Trillion dollars to the national debt. Why isn't anyone talking about that?

Biden isn't pushing the "far left agenda" he's being skewered over . He had to make deals with real far left members of his own party to win endorsements, and thus the primaries. Biden's a centrist, and the inflation isn't his fault,. It's a global issue.

Screw Trump, the RNC, and the horses they rode in on.
(y) (Y)Again, right there with you. The way I see it, if I pull a republican lever, I am literally asking for the end of any semblance of Democracy in the US. And I am a registered "No Party" person.

This quote comes to mind for me https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/27...ected-the-office-of-president-represents-more

How many vaccines do you know of that you can take two doses followed by two to three boosters and still catch and spread the virus it's supposed to protect you from.

Flu vaccine often misses the dominant strain. Aside from that, there are tons of virus that we don't have a vaccine for. Viruses mutate fairly frequently which makes vaccines less effective. First one that comes to mind is HIV. Even colds (which are traditionally caused by less harmful coronavirus) mutate enough by a person can catch it after it's been spread about 4 people down the chain. RNA viruses mutate faster than DNA viruses due to less checks on their genetic replication. The other factor is that it spreads easily and takes a while to show symptoms, meaning more people catching and spreading it, which means higher chance of mutation within a given period of time. Sars and swine flu hit hard and fast enough that people isolated before it could spread far.

[HEADING=2]Another Anti-Vaccine Radio Host Is Killed By Covid—Adding ...[/HEADING]
https://www.forbes.com › tommybeer › 2021/09/16 › a...

Sep 16, 2021 — At least five unvaccinated right-wing radio hosts have died from Covid-19 over the past six weeks.

[HEADING=2]Kelly Ernby was an anti-vaxxer who died. Is that cause for glib ...[/HEADING]
https://www.latimes.com › kelly-ernby-antivax-covid-death

Jan 6, 2022 — Kelly Ernby was an anti-vax Republican from Orange County. When she died of COVID this week, many liberals took grim satisfaction.

So yeah, you can still get covid, it's just not anywhere near lethal.. I think I heard the term, "vaccinated and asymptomatic" kicked around.

The beauty of this is, nobody had to try and reason with her, covid did it for us.
There is a spectrum going from antivax to the point of putting an IV line and getting constantvax. Where do you stand?

Well, my lifestyle is not one where I'm even remotely liable to contact or contract covid. The pandemic really didn't phase me, since other than wearing an KN-95 mask when required. I don't need "counseling" for stress related to the lock down. I'm retired, so I wasn't prohibited from working or going to school. In shorter terms, the pandemic was pretty much "life as usual". But, due to my age, I'm in a "high risk group".

With those things said, I'm double boosted to the latest standard Whether or not it was necessary, or just a placebo effect, I care not. All I know is that it frees me from histrionic hand washing, or uncertainty and worry. after a trip to the supermarket. I don't have to buy products that are opportunistically marketed as "killing 99% of viruses or bacteria." or scrub down the doorknob or counter tops every time I touch them.

I have some sociopathic personality traits, the most salient one is an almost total lack of empathy. In short, I'm emotionally detached from anyone dying from disease or gunfire, as long as it's not me. "The misanthropathy runs deep in this one", to pinch a phrase

So, whether it's for self preservation, or simple peace of mind, it's no hardship or, "abridgment of my rights", to go ahead and get the, (free to me) shots. Which I did.

The Spanish flu killed about 800,000, in a much smaller US population. Covid, (unless you subscribe to bizarre conspiracy theories), has killed over a million. Why chance it, riding the entire population "bareback", so to speak. when it can easily be avoided or mitigated by vaccination. I've had no side effects from the shots, it hasn't turned me gay, and there's no lump under my skin from a microchip. I win.

The ironic factor here is, that most of those big pharma execs are more than likely conservatives as well.. Yet they;re not above pandering to the LBGTQ+ sector, by inflicting HIV drug commercials on the entire population.

I mean, for god's sake, now I not only mute the TV during commercials, but when the two men kiss, I have to close my eyes as well.

So, big pharma, is a big parasite, their execs are mostly conservative, but it doesn't matter what color of the "Rainbow coalition" you are, all they care about is your money green, and lots of it..

And here we can see the hideous face of corporations in it's splendor.
Will be a funny trial to watch.
Keep us on the track with news on this please.
In this case I'm 100% with Google. Spam is spam regardless who sends it. This is clearly a "please look at us" situation where they refuse to comply to rules that everybody else is following and expect to receive preferential treatment.

So tired of conservatives constantly whining about everything and constantly playing the victim card. Nothing is fair, everyone is out to get them, etc. The RNC sends out literally tens of millions of e-mails every week begging for donations. I know people who get multiple e-mails PER DAY asking for donations. If that's not spam then I don't know what is.

I also find it funny that conservatives and RNC have nothing but negative things to say about the state of California. But of course that's where they file their lawsuit because it's the state where it's easier to bring these nonsense lawsuits. They won't win either way.

Careful with generalizing an entire political party in absolutes.. it's an easy trap fall into with logical fallacies, lies, misinformation, and opinions rather than facts.

The Republicans don't all do what you claim, and the Democrats don't always do the opposite of such.

Statements such as these prove that you can't be objective on political discussions.. and does nobody good anywhere.

Mandatory flu vaccines were already a thing in medical settings. And you can totally be fired for not following company policy when it comes to mitigating the spread of disease. In fact, in most states, the employers don't need a reason to fire the employee due to at-will employment.
Tell us more how the pseudo covid vaccines prevent someone from contracting covid along with spreading it to others.

In the United States today:

Democrats today... are for fascism and controlling the populace with their elitist rules, governance & censorship. Democrats are openly against Equality & what the Constitution stands for, they want to re-write the Constitution, so that American's Citizens come under European laws.

Most liberal Democrats are not Patriots, they are "visionaries" who virtue signal all the time to European leaders, that USA will disarm and cow-tow to European rules and accept Socialist governance, so that the people of America don't have a say in their lives, .

That^ is why the Republican party is growing.

Ultra liberals have over-taken the Democratic party... and forcing their fringe views on the populace and it will fail. Their fascism and using government agencies to attack political foes is just forcing more and more people to the Republican party. Americans have seen how badly the swamp-things falsified, made-up, accused, spied on a non-politicians and accused him of so many things... just so Trump wouldn't get elected and ruin their fascist EU plans. (Cancel-culture, Censoring, Violence, Shouting down people Antifa/BLM, Mandates, etc..)

Additionally, Americans and Patriots and most of the Democrats hate the now exposed Communism Teacher's Union & how they have taken over American schools & decided that they will no longer teach Civics, Government, Pledge of Allegiance, History, etc.... they are trying to strip America of it's National Pride.

Lastly, Republican complain about unequal application of the law and the rule of the law.... nothing more.

Every single Democratic talking point is about their elitism and virtue-signaling and using the government illegal to change laws that favor "pet groups" of people... which is wholly un-constitutional. Laws serve everyone, they don't target.

If by "not very deadly" you mean "Death rate around 2.5%".

As for pharma companies, I note vaccines are historically money loosers for them; they need to be reimbursed by the Federal government just to break even on them.

In that case make sure you get your Pneumonia vaccine if there is a important vaccine the new Pfizer 2 in one Pneumonia vaccine is the one to get called Prevnar20. With antibiotic resistance on the rise you increase your chances of protecting yourself from 20 common bacterial infections of the lungs and prevent taking antibiotics that will eventually cause resistance. Mind you this is a one vaccine per lifetime.
Hey did you know that there is 2 oral anti covid medications one called Paxlovid on the market. So even if someone is not vaccinated there is simply no reason for someone in 2022 to die from Covid unless they they anti medicine too!

Sadly, there are still People today, who still believe Dr Fauci and the CDC... even though they had to go in front of Congress and admit they lied about the data.

Of coarse, CNN, CBS, MSNBC, ABC, etc... never openly reported on this or even televised the hearing...

There are a lot of ways, but I will give one example.

Remember the badly named "super-spreader events"?
Search for them, and find how many of them were in events where vaccines\masking was required.

Then find out how many of them were events in which vaccines\masking was NOT required.

Ta-Da!

The only super spreader events that come to mind is when Democrat governors forced covid infected zombies into retirement homes.
