Router?

I recently bought a PlayStation 3 and a Wii. I was very excited too play online but to only realize my Dsl modem only supports one connection at a time. My friend told me to get a router but he told me he has cable and dosent know if it will work for me since i have DSL. Does a router work for DSL ?(I have at&t to be exact) I just need something where i can be on my PlayStation and have someone on the computer at the same time using the internet. Should i get a router? If so which one? My Wii and PlayStation are in my living room which is about 20 feet away and would like to get a wireless if possible.

yes you can get DSL routers with 4 ports, they plug into the DSL line, you just need to supply your login details and the router will replace your exisitng modem, you can also get wireless DSL routers that have 4 ports and a wireless part as well, do a search on netgear, Dlink, Belkin etc and check out Ebay as well
