Russia's rocket launcher-carrying, robot ninja dog was likely bought off Alibaba

Funny indeed. Not as funny as the idea one other American had - if attacked by a pit bull, he would just kick it 50 yards away, he plays football, he can do it.
Ah, such wonderful imagination you Americans have :)
er... nope.
What he has on top is an RPG-26, loaded weighs about 3 kilos, add a little more for the base and adapter to attach it to the robot. It also doesn't raise the center of gravity too much. and a rocket launcher/propelled grenade launcher has no recoil...

However this is always a pretext for Russian invasions - it so solely mainly done for land grab , resources.
The land and resources in Donbas isn't worth much, else Putin would have annexed it in 2014.

The truth of the matter is that the Russian people have long pressured Putin to take action in Donetsk and Luhansk. And the Russian military firmly believes that NATO is continuing its so-called "Anaconda Strategy" of encircling Russia with military bases. Putin resisted both elements, as he saw no personal benefit to attacking Ukraine.

What changed? Three things. One, Zelensky openly stated his plans to disavow the Minsk Accords (as well as threats to reacquire nuclear weapons and attack Russia directly in Crimea). Two, the Biden Administration began pressuring NATO members to treat Ukraine as a member in all but name, and publicly stated keeping Ukraine out was "not open to negotiation". And Three, Putin's popularity had slid in the years since 2014 ... and nothing unites a nation like a foreign adversary.

I wonder how the pro-russian people in Donbass etc are feeling now - as they are abused by russian soldiers , the men grabbed off the street for enforce conscription
Actually, the men are being grabbed by members of the LPR and DPR. But since the government in Kiev is enforcing even more stringent conscription requirements, I'm not sure this is a point in either's favor.

Why do you feel the need to defend the Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Why do you feel the need to bloviate on complex issues you lack all understanding of, based solely on on your reading a few fourth-hand accounts by biased, beer-swilling journalists? I've been to Russia, Ukraine, and many of the surrounding countries myself, more times than I can count, I've been following the factors leading up to this conflict since before you were even born, and I have friends, close personal friends, with children are currently fighting this war on both sides.

No war is ever fully justified, but few are entirely unjustified as well, and the narrative of Ukraine as an innocent maiden subjected to an "entirely unprovoked war of aggression" is even more ludicrous than the official Kremlin line. I know you'll refuse to accept that, but the nice thing about facts is that they remain true, regardless of whether or not you believe in them. When you feel up to explaining the "entirely unprovoked wars of aggression" that the US fought against Serbia, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Grenada, and many others, then come back and talk.

A bunch of drones with RPG launchers that can't shoot straight may be scary, but they won't be useful. It's just not cost effective to have to fire 50 RPGs just to score a single hit.
Not that kind of swarm... I'm talking about 10s of thousands of small drones that can self detonate when in contact with something of interest...or something like it.

You say no war is ever fully justified, yet you justify only the Russian narrative and using whataboutism to do it.

Oh, you mean flying drones. I completely agree with you about how effective they'd be. The biggest problems I have with autonomous drones however is:

1) How would an A.I. recognise surrender?
2) What if they get out of control?

He also had a perfect opportunity to explain WHY Ukraine isn't so innocent in this situation but he said nothing. That just screams "Liar, liar, pants on fire!" to me. People like him are why the ignore button exists.

I've stated why many times, in this thread and others. Since you've had your fingers in your ears:

a) Ukraine's banning its ethnic Russian citizens from voting, holding office, and even from speaking their own language -- equivalent to the US banning African Americans from voting, and Hispanics from speaking Spanish.
b) Zelensky's stated intent to disavow the previously-agreed upon Minsk Accords, granting autonomy to Donbas, as well as his administration's threats to reacquire nuclear weapons and attack Russia directly, with veiled hints of "NATO support".
c) Ukraine repeated hosting of NATO training exercises, one last year held only a few miles from the Russian border.
d) Ukraine's cutting off the entire freshwater supply to the civilians of Crimea.
e) The rise of Ukrainian ultranationalist groups which have threatened, terrorized, and killed ethnic Russians, in their search for "ethnic purity" for Ukraine. At least one of these groups -- the swastika-wearing Azov Battalion, was sanctioned by both the UN and the US Congress, acts which Ukraine responded by officially integrating Azov into its armed forces.
f) Ukraine's 2014 coup, which resulted in its democratically-elected leader fleeing the country, to be replaced by Petro Poroshenko, the so-called "Butcher of Donbas", a man whose official government vehicles bore larger-than-life placards of the infamous Nazi sympathizer Stepan Bandera. It was Zelensky's threats to resurrect Poroshenko's hardline policies in Donbas, in fact, that led Russia to begin massing troops on the border.

I could easily list another dozen points, many of which you can reply with justifications, rationalizations, and rebuttals that Russia has done the same or worse. All of which of course only further supports my point.

Yes there is kernals of truth here - but no ones opinion is going to be changed - so I won't take time to address them

Some like the water are a laugh - we stole your land - pumped in Russians( big screen TV ) and you cancelled the netflix sub - Talk about victim blaming
As for Nato drills - yes the USA in spite of Trump have been helping modernise Ukraines military solely because Putin wanted all of Ukraine and the invasion of Crimea - which brought sanctions against Russia as illegal
BR and Russia have been having huge exercises next to Ukraine and NATO borders as well . Russia invades Swedish Air space with Jets all the time . Turkey had enough and shot down a Russia JeT and Putin crawled away as only understands violence .
USA, China all do this big displays of rooster strutting and preening - so what.
Show one invasion on Russian soil - Russia and USSR has killed nearly 100 million people in last 105 years.

All these are victim blaming , Russia is never to be trusted - see Chechnya - that was a lie .
You can not get a peaceful deal with Putin - he and his henchmen have many times stated intentions to grab back all of the eastern Bloc .

Why should Ukraine allow pro-russian parties to stand - whose objective is the overthrow of Ukraine ?
Worry that The USA does not allow communist parties - nothing stops one here in NZ

These conversation need to end as anyone doing research can find better info - no one here is influenced by our ravings
Your desire to see the killing, rape , slaughter . torture continue of proven war criminals like the Wagner Group - Syria , Africa, Chechnya is sad .

Answer me one question only - do you think the average Ukranian will be better off under Russian rule than Ukraine who is seeking EU membership ( so must meet certain stds ) ?
I not saying those 1/2 members are pillars of the world - eg Turkey , Hungary , Poland etc all have a good way to go - but they have democracy where opposition are not killed as much ( Turkey can be brutal )
