My monitor seems to have bit the dust. It is about 2 months old.
Normally when the monitor is plugged in the power light goes into stand by mode, which blinks in one second intervals.
However two days ago when I powered down the PC the monitor did not go into stand by mode, it went into some sort of test mode. I did not realize it at first and it was in the test mode all night. I cannot remember what the message was on screen, I did not think anything of it the next day and powered down the monitor by pressing the power button.
Now a day or so afterwards, I go to power on the PC the monitor will not power up any more. I checked the connections and they all seem to be ok. One item I did notice is when I plug the power cord into the monitor, the power light will light up for a second then it will go dark. I press the power button, the unit will not power up or even go into stand by mode.
Any ideas on how to get the unit to work again?
