 I hope this is the right board to post this question!

With endless hours & days of searching, and pulling my hair out: Does anyone know where I could find some type of a Viewing Schematic on a particular MotherBoard, such as: "DELL INSPIRON 5100?

NOTE:
I've downloaded the manual from Dell's website with NO LUCK!

Any & All Replies are Welcome!

you can try and find out the model of the motherboard that it uses first, then have a look for its info.. Apps like SIW and Everest Home can help you..

Oh-No! I

Thank you N3051M, but I forgot to mention one small thing! I can't get passed the "gray screen". Its protected by a Bios Password that I don't know. I do know the (MB's Model #:5W288).

Note:
I need to see a diagram Pic of MB, in-order to locate the EEPRom Chip, so that I can perform a reset.

Thank You,

Lady Essence

It is not the EEPROM chip you have to reset. Actually, if you clear the EEPROM, your computer will be without BIOS and completely unbootable.

If you can't find the jumper for resetting the password, then just remove the CMOS battery for a couple of minutes. The battery is usually a coin-sized and -shaped metal thing somewhere near the EEPROM chip.
