I need to change some settings on my router (the nat to open) how do I go about doing this? Very simple steps work the best with me lol!(how do i even get to the page to change router settings?!)

You should start by reading your router manual. After that, try to figure out what you want to achieve and tell us too :)

"nat to open" does not make sense. Do you want to play some game with someone over the internet? What game is it? What kind of a router do you have?

360 NAT problem, netgear router problem

I need to open my NAT on my 360 and to do this I must open some ports or port forward some stuff on my router (netgear wpn824v2) and I can get to the router interface but I just can't figure out how to port forward the things.I need to do this to allow me to go to friends games and accept them and go to voice chats.

yeah I know my grammar is probably really bad but I just wrote this 10 minutes ago and it didnt register

Enabling 'DMZ host' is the easiest option. You can do so by entering your router configuration page, enabling DMZ host for the IP address of the device you want 'open' and apply the changes. You may also want to assign a static IP address to the device that is your DMZ host.

DMZ hosts are completely vulnerable to the Internet, so keep that in mind.

Port forwarding is preferred though and may be necessary depending on your router. You'll need to consult your manual or play with it a bit to get it figured out.
