You really expect us to include 6 year old hardware? I really thought including some 3 year old cards was stretch. Our advice for any one trying to game with a GeForce 8 series, 9 series or 200 series graphics card is to upgrade.

Yes, or rather, you could consider which cards you include based on sales figures. The 8800 series was a very successful series. Performance-wise, the 8800 GT is similar to some of the lower-end cards included in your analysis.

Funny how I can play Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, and Dota 2 on medium to high settings, but I'm told I should upgrade...

What he has failed to mention is Sim city is HORRIBLY optimized at the time these test were done.

A GTX Titan getting only 52 FPS on mid quality??? Yea right, Give me a break EA.

This proves that the fx 8350 is really only 25-30% slower in performance per clock.
I5 at 3.0Ghz scores the same as the FX 8350 at 4.0Ghz and it only uses 3 cores.

To the user who said 4 core FX is a good buy NO!!!!!!!!! Games are using more cores and Amd is 25-30% slower compared to Intel and that doesn't include the 25% penalty from CMT when a game uses more then 4 cores.
Games at least use 3 cores heavily now so that means a FX 6 core is the best buy for now and a 140$ 8 core fx is even a better buy
