Site crashes iPad Mini 7.1.2 browsers

About the time of onload(), browser goes white. Occurs with Safari & atomic web browsers.
Lots of other issues, but defer to another post.

We've extensively tested the site on a regular iPad (3rd and 4th gen) among other mobile devices and it's worked well, however it's been a while and there are new changes since.

Can you confirm if the issues extend to the main site (news, reviews) for you or is it only the forums that give you a problem?

the UA string for the mini is

Notes: the mini is running 7.1.2 and my own mobile site runs fine, including cookies, javascript, html5
