Slow Computer

I have a desktop computer that takes a while to load and to open programs. I uninstalled the norton antivirus (supscription ran out) using the norton removal tool and installed Avira. I ran a scan, and Avira found and repaired the following:

TR/Crypt.2PACK.Gen
APPL/KillApplicat.A
APPL/KillApp.A

I also checked to see what was starting up on startup and found these:

AlcxMonitor (ALCXMNTR.EXE)
ctfmon.exe (C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe)

This is not the primary computer used (as such, updates have not been done in a while) but would like to clean it up, if possible, to use as a back up. Please see attached logs. I am in the process of updating what needs to be updated. Thank you very much for your help.

There isn't much on this computer. Not a lot of Services loading... You can defrag the hard drive and delete the temp files. Make sure you have installed all the available Microsoft updates. What are the computer's specs? CPU, memory, hard drive?
