Sony boss -- PlayStation 5 will deliver the best possible value proposition

So wait, these people buy a console, keep it for 7 years, and they're fretting over $500 vs $700???? Lol for my PC I spend $200-$300 A YEAR easily! These peeps are complaining about a $200 difference over the span of 7 years?!

...well at least it keeps MS and Sony from jacking up prices...it is a bit annoying that every 2 years Nvida jacks up the prices for their flagship video cards. :p
Why are you spending 2-300 a year on your PC? o.O

People spend thousands on clothes and watches.
Exactly. If I mentioned what I paid for some of the things I have it would make some people sick. And I say this because I know people that make me look almost frugal. I know a woman that paid $22,000 for a watch. My watch cost me $150. At the same time, she takes fun jabs for me for how much I paid for my car. Her car (300 S) cost her $36,000.

Everyone has their own ways of getting a thrill.

Value is a combination of many things. In our area it means games, it means number of games, depth of games, breadth of games, quality of games, price of games

Sounds like they are trying to prepare people for the reality that they will spend more for inferior hardware as compared to the series x.

We will see how that works out.

Pretty much this. I have a 2080ti, 3800x, 55" OLED, Oculus Rift BUT I'm 42 and have no house or car. I'm not rich, but you might think I was if you just went by my technology purchases.
