Split second startup

this is how the story goes..
i was sleeping friend came over tryed to wake me up and it didnt work.
so he went on my comp and played WoW (world of warcraft ) for 15mins then the comp shutdown on him..
at first i thought it was a PSU problem because the computer wouldnt start !
eversince i have been trying to fix this problem by taking my comp apart then putting it back together trying to find a flaw, BUYING a new PSU and still the same problem.
i have done the process of elimination, like running with one harddrive at a time while everything has been takin out of the computer while doing so ( except the one hdd after the other, i have 3)
i even tryed a different motherboard.
im stuck and i dont have money to try and solve the problem.
can anyone help me!!!

You haven't explained what you mean exactly (just read it over again)
The computer now does not turn on?

Try BenchTesting it

(mind you it's probably just holding charge, hold in the power ON button for 30 secs - with power cord out)

i havent gotten around to trying that link yet but i read it over and it sounds exactly like the solution to my problem.

(more clearly) When i press the power button to my computer the proccessor,PSU, will light up for a breif second then turn off.

i dont know why or how that is the real problems.


im pretty sure its the hard drives, but people with similar problems might be able to tell me what parts were wrong with theirs..
