thank you so much! i'm so grateful that my com's now clean. however, i have one last problem. i can't seemed to change my homepage to something else rather than MSN.com. is that caused by a spyware or virus?

the virus/spyware has disabled the home page setting policies of your pc. if you want to fix this try this method.

1. Run gpedit.msc (StartMenu>Run).

2. Group Policy Window will appear. Go to User Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Component>Intenert Explorer

3. Look for this Policy under Internet Explorer "Disable changing homepage setting" it should be set by default as "Not Configured".

4. Set it as "Disabled". close the gpedit then restart your PC.
