Stop: 0x000000D1 Blue screen message on Win2000Pro

I have just upgraded my CMAIL server and when I run it I get the following mesage.

STOP: 0X000000D1 (0X000000AE, 0X00000002, 0X00000000, 0XBFEAEC10)
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_OR_EQUAL
ON A blue SCREEN.

THE VENDORS ARE ADAMANT THAT IT'S A WINDOWS PROBLEM.

CAN ANYONE HELP?
