T-Mobile yesterday launched the long-awaited Voice over LTE (VoLTE) service, becoming the first of the big four wireless carriers to offer the service to its subscribers.

So they can make you run out of 4G data even faster? I know T-mobile doesn't kill you as bad as Verizon and AT&T for data plans, but if you are using 4G to make calls, that will definitely eat up your valuable data pretty quickly.

T-Mobile does not kill you at all with 4G. It is unlimited. No cap or slow down if you get the top plan. Bring your own phone and its $70/month.

Most likely the VoLTE will not use any "Data". It will still count under your minutes category, but on the technology side your voice information will be carried of the LTE line. Does that make sense?
