I am a mobile gamer, and let me tell you - those games are amazingly well designed at being addictive, you loose track of everything, and you keep spending at 10$, 20$ daily, sometimes more weekly, then paycheck so you buy smth for 100$ and bam...5k gone in month.
My point being: yes, protect children, but dont forget about adults, they get addicted too! Everyone in my guild are adults to my knowledge, and they all spent much more than they wished too.
Honestly, id like to see a cap on how much you can spend on game per month, that would actually also help gameplay

Which one? Every mobile game I’ve played has been awful and not stood a chance at getting me to pay money. So I want to know which apps are good at sucking players in. I’ve tried clash of clans, candy crush, angry birds, boom beach and a few others and they are all dreadful soul destroying experiences that if anything I’d pay money to avoid!

Look, there's always been something out there rotting the minds of our young. In the 60s it was hippies and beatniks, the 70's it was rock and roll, in the 80's it was heavy metal and video nastys, in the 90's it was gangster rap, in the 2000's it was video games, and now it's social media and the internet. In time we always look back with a much clearer perspective.

Maybe parenting should have a role, maybe not, but even if we limited our children's time with this stuff, it would still add up to millions of hours of consumption and huge profits for these companies. One thing I am 100% for - it is not the role of my government to regulate people's access to media. China is a communist state, so central control is the modus operandi, and that's all there is to it.
