on my process list i have alot of running programs and i would like to stop tha ones i see fit for my laptop, i've looked in tha www.processlibrary.com to better understand tha software lingo but tha first problem is i have more that one svchost.exe runnin, how can i identify which ones go to what on my laptop...much luv and respect...

yep, par for the course.

see this tool and then you can click on the specific process
and right click for properties to see the parms used to create the process
eg:

c:\windows\system32\scvhost.exe -k imgsvc
c:\windows\system32\scvhost.exe -k LocalService
c:\windows\system32\scvhost.exe -k NetworkService
