The Best Smartphones: Top Overall, Budget and Flagship Quality for Less

Best of Smartphones Updated with all the latest phone releases, price updates and more. The Google Nexus 6P is in, the Xperia Z5 didn't make it. A few more considerations and alternatives named within the updated article, but we were pretty solid on the first round. So here you go.

Julio, how can you possibly claim that the Galaxy S6 has decent battery life? That 2550mah battery just doesn't hold up.

And then there's the ram problem and the overall poor software, which perhaps is more of a subjective thing.

Doesn't seem like that good of a phone unless you need a good camera and an Android iphone. Good looks only go so far, and I wouldn't call a fingerprint magnet good looking.

Meh why someone would want to have a phone that costs more than 200$ is beyond me. Should it ever fall to the ground you can start crying.

Very happy with my Lumia 640 and don't really see after reading this article what should be so good about these other phones. A 1440p display in a phone... seriously? Paying triple and not getting crucial features? The camera seems to mostly be the deciding feature... couldn't care less if I wanted to become a photographer I'd buy a real camera.

Samsung and Apple lol
No microSD card slot. Non-removable battery.

LOL insta KO.

The Lumia 950 and 980 will come this December I think? Wonder if you even considered them at all in the equation. As said I'd rather take my 640 than any of these phones.

1. Sooooo.... you had to invent a category so the iPhone didn't feel left out?

To be fair we didn’t create the category, millions of mindless drones did.

Everybody agree that this list is just good to burn...

Disclaimer: We aren’t responsible for disgruntled readers who try to burn their monitors.

"Those damn mindless drones, and their ability to choose, and their high-end performance and app selection!"

Anyway, the new iPhone selection is great. That said, the 6S Plus wasn't for me; I'm loving my Note 5, though.

wp is ok, but still lack to much of apps.

Not even a single mention of the One Plus 2? As powerful and well designed as any of the same-old-suspects phones mentioned here, but half the price - and you can get them without an invite now. hmmm
