I'm not certain that this is the correct forum to seek an answer.

When I go to some (not all) sites in my Chrome browser (always kept updated), I get the following message"

[HEADING=2]The connection to www.espn.com is not secure.[/HEADING]
You are seeing this warning because this site does not support HTTPS

However, this is ridiculous as espn.com does support https -- in fact when I put my cursor up in the address line (which shows only "espn.com") and use my left arrow, I can see the "https://www." which is a very light gray color.

Why am I getting the above message each time, and can this irksome problem be fixed?

Thank you.

Broni, thank you, there is no padlock there -- it is only a triangle with an exclamation point in it. Then I have to insert my cursor in the address bar and left arrow it to the hidden "https:/" then hit enter and wait for it to load. I just don't know why it is directing me to an insecure espn when there is a secure espn.

See, if your settings are correct:
  1. Launch Google Chrome.
  2. Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Security
  3. Scroll down to find the Advanced section.
  4. Toggle on the Always use secure connections
  5. Close the tab.
    Restart Chrome.

Reset Chrome...
Click on "Customize and control Google Chrome":

If the above didn't help....
