Judging by music charts, the free market is full of morons with terrible taste.

Not only that, the market isn't free anymore. It used to be that competition was so high that companies had to bend themselves to the will of the market. Now that everything's an oligopoly at best, the corporations have the market power to bend the markets to THEIR wills.

Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time would be my top pick. You could argue that Breath of the Wild improved on just about everything from OoT, but at the time OoT was (and still is) a masterpiece. Great story and fantastic gameplay. Amazing that its over 20 years old. I still play it on my N64

Absolutely, Ocarina of Time is an absolute classic. So too (also on the N64) was Goldeneye 007.
