Trying to check Yahoo Mail. Clicking on Yahoo Mail site(s) in Google, brings up Get Firefox 3.6

There is a line that says 'no thinks, just get mail'- it doesn't work.
If you check on Get it Now you are also accepting the Yahoo Toolbar!

I tried several different ways to access the Yahoo Mail but all brought up the Firefox page. I use Firefox, but I don't want Yahoo Mail insisting I get the update instead of reading my mail!

Any other Firefox/Yahoo Mail users noticing this?

Are you using Firefox? I am.

I put "Yahoo Mail" in Google Search box. No matter which Yahoo page I choose-main account page will come up- but if I try to go to mail from there, or go directly to Yahoo Mail, I get the Firefox v3.6 splash screen. The option 'no, just take me to my mail' does nothing.

I just tried it again- same thing. Apparently Mozilla and Yahoo have some kind of agreement. they are reading my browser as Firefox.

Well I'm glad to report that Mozilla and Yahoo are no longer hijacking my mail screen! I am not please at all though over what was happening.

It amounted to Yahoo denying me access to the mail screen and Mozilla trying to force Firefox v3.6 on me and with the Yahoo toolbar!I've been very pleased using Firefox for the past several years and this is the first time anything like that has happened.

Broni, yes I realize that it was a bad link. I'm attempting to determine what happened and to resurrect the correct link.

It's amazing though that there are just a few comments about this but no information on how it got set up in the first place!
