Thumbnails not showing

I do not know what happened. All I know is that when trying to see the pictures saved in my computer as Thumbnails, the computer does not recognize the format!!!
What can I do?

So when in your pictures folder and clicking on 'views' then clicking 'thumbnails' they won't switch?
