I tried that when you said before whilst it was saying it is connected and it didnt work but I will try again.
Just to clarify the very first issue, I did a PC recovery after receiving a trojan that was discovered (spy doctor found it but my computer was inoperable by this point so I couldnt get rid of it) I'm not sure if a PC recovery would necessarily have gotten rid of it as all of the software I installed before the PC recovery is still there, do trojans/spyware ever have this effect on the ability to access the internet?
