Two Hard Drives

Hi,

This is my first post, never done this before on the internet, am wondering what sort of response there will be. Please do not rubbish me!!!

I have another computer operating on Windows XP. I have another hard drive and would like to fit it and have it running Ubuntu. The actual fitting of the second drive is no problem but how do I arrange the controls so that I am able to switch from one OS to another.

Is this feasible or am I barking up the wrong tree??

When you install Ubuntu it will install a bootloader, GRUB, that will have a boot time menu that allows you to choose between booting Windows or Ubuntu.

Should be pretty easy to do, even with a single harddrive. Just make sure to get the bootloader installed to the first drive in the boot-order.

Also don't get the beta.
