Two Windows XP setups are running on my laptop

when i tried to upgrade my xp with newer xp , the result two windows xp setup running on my pc.. one xp files are in c drive. another xp files are in d drive. please help me to solve this prob
 
not to clues up but sounds like when u upgraded or reinstalled its gone to the other drive instead of going over the other 1. i would suggest a whole new reformat just on 1 drive but. b4 doing this wait a while and c if someone else can help like tech etc
 
problem solved

hi frends my prob solved... i have posted that two xp setup are running on my laptop.. now its get solved.....

when i switch on the system, two windows xp os are running... i solved in the following way..

1. after enter into the system , right-click the my computer and choose the properties

2. choose advanced opton

2. in that choose the settings for system failure restore(startup and recovery)
3. choose default operaing system from the list of view.

4. edit option availabl in that. click that and remove the unwanted os entry from that notepad and save.
5. change the time to 0 seconds..


thats it.. problem solved.. now oly one os is running..
