unable to play Pirates of the caribbean

Well i got a P4 2.68 Ge force fx5200 128mb 512 ddr and an aureal vortex sound card, Should be ok to play pirates of the caribbean, but no chance i have upgraded my graphics card drivers have the lateast direct x and windows Xp service pack 2, The game installs ok but will not run the screen goes blank and then back to windows. Help please i dont want to format.

remove your video and sound card only for that game.

friend,it sounds strange that such a high configuration like your's can't run pirates of the carribian. I have a p4 2.4ghz,win xp os,only 256mb ddr,no additional sound card and no graphics card(my motherboard is intel 845gvsr,hence no agp slot at all),but the same game runs very well on my pc.If you are really crazy to play the game uninstall your additional video and sound card.
