I have a set up where I am running a brand new bare bones PC (for a POS system) from a 4 port tp-link Desktop switch. this Switch is connected to another 8 Port switch before the Router/modem.
the isssue is that when I try to connect I get the Unidentified network problem however if I connect my laptop to the same connection it works fine.
as far as I can tell all the settings on both are the same.
I have disabled firewalls and antivirus without any luck
also I know that daisy chaining switches is bad news but I have no other option as I have access via one network cable that I am unable to add to. plus I do not need stella network performance.
any ideas where I should start looking for the cause of this??
