Hello. So I have Asus K50IN laptop with
Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T6500 : 2.1 GHz, FSB 800Hz, 2M L2 Cache.
Which is this: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Core-2-Duo-T6500-Notebook-Processor.34899.0.html
I dont know if this is right but "CPUID CPU-Z" says:
chipset: NVIDIA ID0A83
Southbridge: NVIDIA nForce 730i
I am currently looking for a processor that I could upgrade to.
Is it possible to upgrade my laptop to this: Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T9900 : 3.06 GHz, FSB 1066Hz, 6M Cache
Which is this: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Core-2-Duo-T9900-Notebook-Processor.23802.0.html
I found this T9900 on ebay but is says: "for intel mobile 45 Chipset etc use ONLY"
I also found different processors but they all say for intel mobile 45/55/65/75/76/77 etc.
So do I need to look for processors that are compatible with NVIDIA ID0A83 ? or would the T9900 work as it is?
Any suggestions or help on this would be nice. Thanks. I also uploaded my "cpu-z" screens just incase you need more info.
