Urgent cpu question!

hi guys, im installing my amd athlon64 heatsink right now, and i noticed in the instructions it says "if there are any gaps or scratches on the thermal interface compound contact amd for a replacement" i removed the plastic cover on the heatsink and noticed tiny tiny nicks, and a few tiny gaps...they're quite hard to see unless under the light. should i continue with the install, or buy thermal compound of some sort? thanks guys *really pissed off and wants to build computer*

haha nah i decided to order some arctic silver instead, better to play it safe
