1. Download drivecleanup.zip, unzip and save to your desktop. Move the 32 or 64 bit version ofDriveCleanup.exe to C:\Windows\System32

I downloaded it.how to move it to C?

I tried that once before without any positive results. But I thought I'd give it another go just in case. Well now I'm really screwed! I made a restore point but that got deleted by Windows due to all the reboots and creating new restore points. So I lost all my drivers. Here's the gory details.
I ran the DriveCleanup.exe here's what got removed

After the reboot, none of my USB drives worked, old or new. Looking at this thread, I saw that I needed to remove all the USB hubs, controllers, and mass storage devices and let Windows reinstall them. I did that and rebooted. Now one of my Controllers fails to reinstall so the PC spends all it's time trying to install or find the correct driver. None of the hard drives show in My Computer. I can only see them using diskmgmr as unassigned devices but I can't do anything with them.
Any idea how to get the USB Bus Controller back. It shows location PCI bus 2 device 0 function 0. Any any ideas now to make Windows stop trying to install it until I figure out how to fix it?

What's the make and model of your computer? First, go to the support site for your computer or motherboard maker for your model. Download and reinstall the chipset drivers for your machine.

Do you still have the same problem? Or has it changed? Let me know and then

List any Problem devices

• Make sure devices are connected and powered on
• Click Start->Run, enter: msinfo32. Click the + sign next to Components to expand it
• Click Problem Devices. Anything appear?
• If yes, click on it, Ctrl-A to select all, Ctrl-C to copy it, Ctrl-V to paste into next post
• On the other hand, if no devices are listed, tell me so

Generate and attach a DirectX report

• Click Start->Run, enter dxdiag and click OK
  ===> If you’re running 32 bit Windows, dxdiag will launch on its own
  ===> If you’re running 64 bit Windows, you’ll see 64-bit DxDiag. Click it to launch the 64-bit version of dxdiag
• Notice progress in lower left window corner
• When done, click Save Information button and save as a text file to your Desktop
• Click the Upload a File button to upload and attach the file to your next TechSpot post

Thanks for the reply, I got side tracked with a house move now back to trying to solve my USB driver issues.
I did reload the chipset drivers and my USB3 drivers, still no luck...
msinfo32 reports:
Realtek NDIS Protocol Driver ROOT\LEGACY_RTNDPT60\0000 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
....
I now have a mouse driver issue, it keeps trying to load a driver for the mouse but always fails to find a driver. The mouse works The cycle keeps repeating, making for a slower running system
