I just got a used gateway Solo 2300 with no OS, and tried to load something through the USB port. It didnt work and now my laptop wont power on unless I have the USB plugged in to both my laptop and desktop. Once powered up I can remove the USB and it will run from the power supply, but wont power back on unless the USB is hooked back up. Does anyone know how to fix this, or has the board been damaged?
