Another of the "gratuitous" effect weapons is the Lightning Gun, which replaces the Sniper Rifle. Since the beam from the weapon is so noticeable, snipers will have to be a bit more mobile this time around. But for the reward of shooting someone and seeing their head catch fire, it's totally worth hoofing it a bit.
