Virus that Disables Antivirus

I believe that I have a virus that is disabling my antivirus protection. I had mcafee, which i deleted because I thought there was an issue with McAfee, and now I can't download it again. It says that the page cannot be found. I have tried to install other antivirus software from the internet, and the same thing happens. I have downloaded what I could in an attempt to 'find' this thing, but everything I have is coming up clean. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Please help me if you can!!! Thank you in advance for your time.

the problem is that you get a "page not found"? or installing the software?
can you get online?
are you able to download the software?
please explain.

Sorry, I guess I should have clarified. I can get on the internet, and some programs I can download, but other programs like mcafee, give me a page not found error. Also certain search engines will let me search for antivirus, but as soon as I click on a result, it takes me to an ad site, normally porno.
