Vista to XP Pro downgrade

Hi everyone. I'm new here.
Could you please point me to a detailed guide on how to downgrade Vista to XP Pro? My boyfriend wants to do that, but we are not sure where to start. It's Vista Home Basic on a Toshiba Satellite laptop. He got the XP CD when he bought the laptop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I make some search on google but as I already Microsoft don't offer the option to downgrade but only to upgrade but here is a little thing you may do.
