Weekend tech reading: Final PS4 & Xbox One specs compared, why users uninstall apps

I just want to comment that while I agree with a lot of people here that the consoles have a limited upside of power compared to PC's, one thing to consider is that the majority of games currently being compared are based on current PC game engines. Just because they are excellent game engines doesn't mean they are flawlessly perfect.
There are some console developers that create their own engines and dont just license some preexisting engine which means we could still see some excellent looking games on the consoles that perform better than say, Battlefield. Also, one thing that helps on consoles is developers knowing 100% across the board that every player has the same hardware so they dont have to try to makr their game work with a bunch of varied hardware.. instead they can try to squeeze the best performance they can knowing there isnt one guy with brand new SLI configs and another guy still running parts from 2008..
