    I want to talk about The unrepentant bootlegger article.

    Did she deserve punishment for knowingly operating a pirate website? Yes. Should they send people like her to prison? No.

    I don't get how our government seems to think that prison is just magically going to fix everything. In this case, it most likely emboldened her to commit the crime again. Even more, why are these people being sentenced like they are thieves. Yes they should pay back any money earned but to be sent to prison for copy digital 0s and 1s? Even more, for entertainment purpose? The punishment does not fit the crime.

    If anything, people who are addicted to illegal downloading should be sent to work on movie and TV show sets for free. Maybe this will help them gain a sense of what it takes to make these things as see that while illegal downloading isn't stealing, it's not right either.
