I thought about this for a fleeting moment and pictured Twitter and Fb disappearing. I saw pale confused people slowly doing the zombie walk outside all pointing and asking what the bright orb was hanging in the sky as they began to grunt at each other attempting to actually communicate with each other ...yes it would be tragic indeed.

You might also try getting yourself adopted into a family of any one of a number of Asian cultures, and have a marriage arranged for you. To me, even that sounds preferable to resorting to Facebook..
Unless you're already married, and you're suggesting the average woman can't keep her mouth shut long enough to live without Twitter and Facebook.
That's a horrible thing to say. I'm glad I didn't think of it...

WRONG married and Divorced TWICE out lived the first (after I divorced her) and quite honestly Happily so I think twitter and Facecrap are the worse things ever get out there and talk to HUMAN Beings

FYI Grandfather with three kids and five grand kids who I don't see except for the eldest who lives with me
well that explains it, facebook is a young man's world and it is great to meet and interact with the opposite sex so from my point of view and can't live without it.

OMG if twitter and facebook and all the other social media was to suddenly disappear, can you imagine how that would change all of our lives? Me neither, let it all go. Good riddance.
