What's the best book or course for Mac repair and troubleshooting?

Hi: What's the best book or course for Mac repair and troubleshooting?.



I'm looking for something similar to "Upgrading and repairing PCs by Scott Mueller", which is the best book for PC repair I've ever read.

Back when the Mac was in a tower box (aka G4, G5) this would be reasonable. However, today Mac comes in the iMac form-factor and they are 10x more difficult to get into than any laptop.

Troubleshooting - - go for it; physical component replacement/repair - - forget it.

"Mac repair" - - fixing or replacing components. If that's not your meaning please explain for yourself.

I was saying that Opening an iMac is difficult and replacing components is more difficult than working on a laptop. I hope that help you ....

Almost nothing on a modern Mac laptop is user replaceable anymore. There is still a market for older Macs with user replaceable components, however you don't need anything more than https://www.ifixit.com/ to show you how to do that.
