When playing certain games on line my arrow keys dont work

Hya everyone can anyone help me when my son goes on line to play games they load do certain ones but the arrow keys dont work on certain games and some they do. He has loaded all plug ins that are asked. Does anyone have any Ideas?.

Are the arrow keys supposed to work? Nowadays most players and games use the WASD keys instead of arrow keys by default and you would have to change the keys in the game's settings.
