Why the problem with online gaming?

I switched from an ATI 5850 card to an AMD 6970 card recently. I play mainly Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online and EVE Online.

The 6970 caused problems with both games (white streaks, not being able to read chats, etc...) and the 5850 works perfectly.

Why?

I stopped reading at Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online. LOL

But seriously, try new drivers, make sure the card is properly seated and make sure your PSU has enough balls for the card.
