Why wont Facebook load on my laptop?

Help!

I'm not very computer literate and I have a new acer laptop. only bought it a week ago. It came with windows 8 on it. I have installed Microsoft office and attached my HP printer and installed Chrome & Spotify.

I also tried to download an app to unzip files. 7.zip.

I cannot seem to load up facebook on either of my browsers. Sometimes it loads but then freezes. Most of the time it just says its not responding after about 10 mins of trying.

Can anyone help?
