Broadband access now acting slower than dialup
I have no idea where to even start for what is wrong. Just added Broadband over the dialup that I've had for years, and as of today its slower than dialup ever was. From the history it looks like my son and a friend were looking up game walkthru guides for his xBox console. There are also visits to tweak guides and system setting guides. Various settings have been changed in startup services, add-on's, internet options... etc etc etc. Is there a way to see what might be contributing to pages loading very very slowly? I'm concerned that something may have been switched on or off that is causing a conflict. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you in advance.
PS - Just finished a virus scan with Avira AntiVir and the only problem it complained of was the detection pattern of the Windows virus W95/Blumblebee.1738 which is part of the Panda online scan. I instruct it to ignore.
