D DelJo63 Jul 22, 2010 #2 sure; you will need to delete the partition, create a new one and then format it as NTFS The ISSUE is the drive type {IDE, SATA, or possibly even SCSI} Make sure it's compatible with your motherboard connectors.

SNGX1275 Posts: 10,615 +468 Jul 22, 2010 #3 He said its SATA, so it will work. But like you said he'll have to delete the partition or at least reformat it. The "Apple Firmware" sticker probably means its formatted to HFS+, I really doubt the drive itself is any different.
