Windows 7 BSOD

My girlfriends lap top is suffering from BSOD's. Im not sure what to do with them any help is appreciated. here is the Mbam quick scan

Post any minidumps by going to C:\windows\minidump. Minidump files have a .dmp extension. Select all the .dmp files and right-click sending them to a compressed(zipped)folder. Upload that folder as a file here

Looks like Symantec's Norton is causing problems. Un-install all things Norton and install free MSE:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-essentials-download

Run MSE to see if you are at all still infected. See if this stops the BSOD's

Got a BSOD after uninstalling but before reset to complete uninstall, got another as soon as the computer rebooted from the last one. I dont see a new minidump file in the folder though. Installing MSE now

Installed and ran MSE, trojan found Trojan: DOS/Alureon.A It couldnt remove it, and now it recommends downloading windows defender offline on another computer and creating a cd and booting from the cd on the infected computer

Yikes, I just did some research on it and it looks tricky to remove. I posted this thread https://www.techspot.com/community/topics/trojan-dos-alureon-a.192723/

and will wait to hear from someone before I do anything else
