Windows Explorer Flashing in XP Pro

Gidday - My screen flashes like it is refreshing when using windows explorer. This occures every few seconds. Any ideas? Using XP pro. Cher cher

Do you use any network drives?

Yes we are on a network in a large organisation. A standard user would have 10 -15 mapped drives. Most peoples computers don't do this. Just 1 or 2. Strange thing is - all of the settings should be the same for everyone because all the machines run a ghosted image.
