Windows explorer too slow

I am using WIN2003. Suddenly the WIN explorer is acting up. VERY SLOW. I've screened for spyware/malware/etc using numerous programs. All other programs work fine.

U tried CTRL ALT DEL, and looked at what processes are running?

Anything using large amounts of CPU or Memory?

process are running as normal. What is not normal is that when I open explorer it uses 100 % of CPU usage. I've no idea why it does this.
