Windows Update: Shows Windows 7 Sp1 is needed

Windows Update Shows Windows 7 Sp1 is needed,
but Sp1 has already been installed a while ago.

OS: Windows 7 64 bit with Sp 1 installed
HP laptop

Any advice or reactions?

Are you sure it is installed? Windows Update wouldn't find it as an update if you already have it. Go to the start menu and search "Computer". Then right click on "Computer" and select "Properties". Tell me what it states under Windows version and/or take a screenshot.

I would just let it install. If it notices that the update is already installed, the installation should fail. If it does, just hide the update if it doesn't go away automatically.
